Associated Builders, and Contractors, Inc., Eastern Shore Chapter has been serving the construction industry since 1957. Our chapter was the first established chapter of the national association and has since grown to 80 members. ABC is an organization of general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and associates with a simply stated main objective; to preserve, promote, and protect the open shop construction industry.

2008 Handlebars for the Holidays

Eastern Shore Chapter ABC donated over 150 new bicycles for Christmas to less fortunate children in our community. The 2008 Handlebars Chairman Fred Doster began fundraising activities during the summer and raised enough money to purchase the bicycles and helmets from the Kmart in Salisbury at a special discount price.

Fred thanked all of the donors and Kmart for their help in making this a very special time of the year. The organizations that received the bikes and helmets are the Salvation Army in Salisbury, the Village of Hope in Salisbury, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Salisbury, Baptist "Toy" Ministry in Salisbury and the neighborhood Service Center in Easton.
